Step 3: Identity Verification
To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletion requests, we may ask you to verify your identity by:
- Responding from the email address associated with your account
- Providing additional verification information if needed
- Logging into your account to confirm the request
Our Deletion Process

- Acknowledgment: Within 48 hours
- Verification: 1-3 business days
- Deletion: 5-10 business days
- Confirmation: Within 24 hours of completion

We will delete your data from all active systems, including:
- Production databases and user accounts
- Backup systems (within our standard backup rotation)
- Analytics and tracking systems
- Third-party services (Auth0, email systems)
- Marketing and communication platforms
Third-Party Services
We will also request deletion of your data from third-party services we use:
- Auth0: Authentication and user profile data
- Analytics Services: Google Analytics, usage tracking
- Email Services: Marketing and transactional email data
- Cloud Storage: Azure services and backup systems
Note: Some third-party services may have their own retention policies. We will make best efforts to ensure deletion but cannot guarantee immediate removal from all third-party caches or backups.
Consequences of Data Deletion
Please understand that requesting data deletion will result in:
- Account Termination: Your user account will be permanently closed
- Service Loss: You will no longer be able to access our services
- Data Recovery: Deleted data cannot be recovered
- Communication: We will no longer be able to contact you
⚠️ Important: Data deletion is permanent and irreversible. Please ensure you have backed up any important information before proceeding.
Alternative Options
Before requesting full data deletion, consider these alternatives:
- Account Deactivation: Temporarily disable your account without deleting data
- Data Portability: Request a copy of your data before deletion
- Selective Deletion: Delete only specific types of data
- Privacy Settings: Modify data sharing and marketing preferences
